Java Backend Developer

W2 opportunity, No H1B's, Hybrid Opportunity in Phoenix, AZ Job Description:We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining web applications that are critical to our business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring BootCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both the front-end and back-end.Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating them with front-end components.Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.Conduct code reviews and participate in debugging and troubleshooting efforts.Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on Java.Experience with Java and Spring Boot for back-end development.Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience working with microservices architecture.
