We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in hygiene care but also passionate about making patients feel safe, informed, and supported.ResponsibilitiesPerform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing with a focus on patient comfort and careConduct oral health assessments and support the dentist in diagnostic proceduresEducate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative careMaintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA standardsFollow all infection control and sterilization protocolsUse dental software (e.g., Denticon) to manage patient charts and treatment notesWork collaboratively with dental assistants and dentists to ensure smooth, efficient patient careQualificationsNY State Dental Hygienist license (required)Prior experience in a dental office (preferred)Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and terminologyKnowledge of infection control and OSHA standardsExperience with Denticon or similar dental software is a plusPositive attitude, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindsetPay range and compensation packagePay: $55.00/hour plus incentives
