Generally requires management support to handle intermediate to difficult issues.\n\nWHAT YOU GET TO DO\nActs as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.\nUnderstands customer requirements relating to problems to products and equipment.\nServices customer equipment, where applicable, to maintain optimum performance of equipment, packaging films and shrink bag materials.\nIdentifies machinery and packaging film/shrink bag problems and ensures that they are properly communicated to the appropriate staff representatives.\nMaintains accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.\nPerforms and completes package/shrink bag and machine audits on packaging machines.\nParticipates in field trials of new packaging materials.\nAssists in the installation and start-up of all packaging equipment manufactured and sold by Amcor.\nProvides input, as requested, into the design, installation and start-up of packaging equipment manufactured by outside suppliers or RE&D.\nResponsible for scheduling own time and travel and determining priority of customer calls.\nWorks on special projects as assigned.\nEstablishes and maintains effective relations with customers, sales personnel and internal Amcor staff personnel.\nCompletes KMS reporting within 5 days, completes expense reports within a month of business trip and turns in weekly schedules within designated time frame.\n\nWHAT WE VALUE\nCustomer Orientation – demonstrated concern for satisfying one’s external and/or internal customers\nBuilding Collaborative Relationships – the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside of the organization who can provide information, assistance and support.\nInitiative – identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked to or required by the situation\nTechnical Expertise – depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area\nResults Orientation – continuously delivers and executes on tasks in order to ensure compliance within established guidelines\nAttention to Communication – ensuring that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed; both oral and written communication is clear and concise\n\nWHAT WE WANT FROM YOU\nEducation: Technical Degree\nExperience: 1-2 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery)\nWilling to travel 60% or more and holds a valid driver’s license\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
