For this reason, we offer industry leading benefits and competitive salaries for professionals who are passionate about serving their clients.Position DescriptionManagement of Educational Facility experience in CA, is required.Serve as the District/Owner’s Representative for K–12 and public agency construction projectsLead and manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, including modernization, infrastructure, and campus improvement projectsManage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and overall project performanceCoordinate with District staff, architects, consultants, contractors, DSA, inspectors, and utility agenciesLead project meetings and maintain proactive communication with stakeholdersReview and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, schedules, and project documentationMonitor contractor performance, site safety, schedule adherence, and quality of workSupport development and implementation of project controls, QA/QC procedures, and construction phasing plansPrepare executive-level reports, project updates, and presentations for District leadership and stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactivelySupport active-campus coordination to minimize disruption to students, staff, and operationsMentor junior staff and support team developmentMaintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and professionalismRequired QualificationsMinimum 7-10 years of experience managing California K–12 or public agency construction projectsExperience serving as an Owner’s Representative, Construction Manager, Program Manager, or senior-level Project Manager on public works projectsStrong understanding of:DSA processes and closeoutCalifornia public contractingConstruction scheduling and cost controlsRFIs, submittals, and change order managementActive-campus construction coordinationProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in PMIS and construction management software platformsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldCCM, DBIA, LEED AP, PMP, PE, or similar certificationsExperience with Lease-Leaseback and Design-Build delivery methodsExperience with bond-funded modernization and infrastructure projectsExperience with eBuilder, Kahua, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar platformsBE CHALLENGED, BE INSPIRED.With Safework, you'll play a part in solving complex technical challenges with innovative, sustainable, and dependable solutions.
