Integration & Operational Excellence Manager

Job Title: Integration and Operational Excellence Manager Reports to: Director of Operations Job SummaryThe Integration Manager & Operational Excellence Manager is primarily responsible for leading the strategic and operational integration of newly acquired and/or greenfield divisional locations into the company’s existing framework. This role ensures effective integration project management by alignment across systems, processes, personnel, and brand standards to deliver a seamless transition that supports business growth and operational excellence. Secondary responsibility is to provide operational excellence project management support to existing divisional locations as needed in support of the Director of Operation and the Divisional Managers. Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Management• Develop and execute location integration plans aligned with corporate strategy and timelines. • Act as the primary liaison for integration activities, managing project timelines, issue resolution, and reporting. • Oversee transitions in calibration workflows, service agreements, maintenance protocols, and equipment tracking.Personnel Integration• Lead or support hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff. • Communicate changes and expectations clearly to foster alignment and minimize disruption. • Collaborate with HR to integrate systems, compensation, and benefits.Systems and Financial Integration• Manage integration of calibration management software, financial tools, and inventory systems. • Oversee data migration and ensure data integrity. • Analyze financial performance, develop budgets, and implement cost controls.Asset and Inventory Management• Coordinate transfer and standardization of calibration equipment and inventory. • Align maintenance and repair protocols across locations. • Collaborate with corporate support service departments to ensure operational readiness.Operational ExcellenceEnhance operational efficiency by using lean principles to streamlined processes, automated tasks, implemented technology solutions, optimize resource allocation, reduce waste, and improve employee training. • Development and/or enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all divisional locations. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards specific to calibration services. • Define and monitor KPIs to assess integration success and operational performance. • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards specific to calibration services.Skills• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management. • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in calibration software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.Work Environment and Travel• Office and industrial lab settings. • Must be comfortable with frequent travel (50-75%) , including short-notice trips.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related technical field preferred. Experience in project management (i.e. PMP certification), Merger & Acquisition (M&A) integration, calibration, and/or lean manufacturing desirable Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong cross-functional leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Experience with business systems (ERP, LIMS, finance, HR, IT).
