Support full product life cycle through prototype design tests to test automation and quality assurance.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nLead the development of hardware and software solutions for new product validation\nDevelop scripts and software for automatic test control and data gathering.\nDefine and execute detailed test plans to validate products against requirements\nDevelop validation standards and testing protocols\nUnderstand product specifications and customer use cases to determine validation requirements\nCommunicate issues and collaborate with R&D engineering team\nTroubleshoot abnormal test results and analyze root causes\nConduct audits of validation and process qualification to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements\nProcure and maintain validation test equipment and fixtures\nManage validation documentation including test software, validation protocols and summary reports\nAdhere to quality system standards, ESD requirements and safety rules pertaining to the job.\nAdhere to MultiTech rules and policies and provide leadership through training and example.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\n\nBS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years experience with validation for PCBA based electronics.\nGood technical documentation skills (test plans, test reports, etc.)\nGood understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals.\nExperience with programming and scripting languages for test automation (LabVIEW, C, C#, Python, etc.)\nKnowledge of wireless protocols (LoRaWAN, Bluetooth, cellular, NB-IoT, WiFi, etc.)\nFamiliar with use of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, lora and gps communication testers, etc.)\nFamiliar with test management software (Jira, Atlassian, Spira, Eagle, etc.)\nStrong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.\nEffective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n\nLifting requirements up to 25 pounds.\nRequires sitting for periods of time and occasional standing.\nUse hands to finger, handle or feel.\nReaching required.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWorking conditions are normal for an office environment.
