Job Description Cal Spas is seeking an energetic person who can work in fast paced environment to manage purchasing functions and interface with the vendors. The ideal candidate will need to be fluent in Mandarin in order to facilitate all overseas orders. Characteristic Duties and Responsibility: Negotiate and carry out the purchasing of production raw materials, office supplies, capital equipment, licenses, outside services and other items required. Negotiate vendor agreements that minimize inventory exposure while assuring on time delivery. Critically assess suppliers, products, and services, and negotiate the best possible deals. Report to management on the status of vendor dealings as required by specific projects Evaluates procurement data and monitors key purchasing metrics. Schedules purchase orders strategically to ensure items are available when required for production. Research goods and services as required Monitor daily reports and create purchase orders in order to meet daily requirements for items needed for production. The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years related purchasing experience. Proven negotiation skills required. MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING PURCHASING EXPERIENCE. Good written and verbal communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and exceptional organizational skills are also required.
