Travel RN - Med/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Unit position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring chemo certification and Epic experience.Job Details• Work in the Infusion Unit of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System,• Level II Trauma Center,• Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts, 7:00-19:30,• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed,• Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed,• Epic EMR experience required,• 12-week contract,Job Requirements• Active CT or compact RN license required,• Current certifications required: BLS, NIHSS, and Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC),• Epic EMR experience required,• Prior infusion nursing experience with chemotherapy administration required,• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate,• Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license,• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,• 1 professional reference required for consideration,Additional Information• Royal blue scrubs required,• Free parking available on-site,• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility,• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted,• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered,• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
