This role focuses on building, upgrading, testing, and repairing desktop computers for resale and customer use. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical skills, enjoys troubleshooting hardware issues, and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality systems.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Assemble, configure, and test desktop computers from new and refurbished components\n* Diagnose and repair hardware issues (motherboards, RAM, power supplies, hard drives, etc.)\n* Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software\n* Perform quality assurance testing to ensure systems are stable and customer-ready\n* Maintain organized inventory of parts, tools, and completed builds\n* Document repairs, system builds, and component usage accurately\n* Provide basic customer support for computer-related issues when needed\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred: CompTIA A+, etc.)\n* 1+ years of hands-on computer repair or assembly experience (professional or hobbyist)\n* Strong knowledge of PC hardware components and troubleshooting techniques\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team\n* Good organizational and time management skills\n\n*Physical Requirements*\n\n* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cases, monitors, bulk parts)\n* Extended periods of sitting, standing, or working with hand tools\n* Manual dexterity to handle small components and cables\n\n*Why Join ReUse Computers?*\n\n* Hands-on, engaging technical work with real impact\n* Opportunity to grow technical skills in a supportive environment\n\nReUse Computers is a technology refurbishment and repair company dedicated to giving computers a second life.
