If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\r\nJob Summary\r\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Milpitas, CA site.\r\nReporting to the Business Compliance, Sr. Manager, the Intern will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.\r\nWhat a typical day looks like\r\n\r\nInvolvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction)\r\nAnalyze data and process flow procedures\r\nResearch and create various reports and procedures as needed\r\nCollaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI's\r\nAttend team meetings and support project work as needed\r\n\r\nStudent qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:\r\n\r\nSenior level student currently pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related major\r\nRisk Analysis and Statistics coursework required\r\nEnthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment\r\nHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication and leadership skills (will be speaking with suppliers and interacting with cross-functional teams)\r\nNative-level English proficiency required (written and verbal)\r\nPrevious Quality related internship experience a plus!\r\n\r\nInternship Program Requirements\r\n\r\nAvailable to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment\r\nCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university\r\n3.0 minimum GPA\r\n\r\nPay Range (Applicable to California)\r\n$19.13 USD - $26.31 USD Hourly\r\nJob Category\r\nIntern\r\nRelocation: Not eligible\r\nIs Sponsorship Available?\r\nNo\r\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
