Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will Do:Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)Ability to perform field calls and sample prep activities unsupervisedUnder an approved trainer, perform alloy change quality checks.Become certified to perform TIP microstructure analysis.Under supervision of a qualified rater, perform reactive metallography inspections.Take and pass exams related to material specifications.Support the continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment.The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights over 60' with harness, working in loud, bright areas, using metal processing equipment (i.e., saws, grinders, etc.) and looking through microscopes.Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
