Multiple sites in Houston for career growth.Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical and instrumentation systems Drive long term reliability improvements especially on instrument and electrical systemsMaintain the DCS and related systems and provide upgradesWork closely with I&E Techs to support the units and be in the unitsDesign, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical systems and equipment for manufacturing operations.Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, operations, and project engineering to support continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulationsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective actionsAssist with capital projects (such as installing a new transformer), including scope development, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and project execution.BS EE and 4 + years of experience in manufacturing environment with a preference for chemicals, refining, or pulp and paper.Ambs Chemical Search LLC was established in 1998 to provide direct hire recruiting services to chemical and refining operating facilities.
