Staff Data Scientist Hybrid Arlington VA or remote (Boston/Bay Area/San Diego/Los Angeles)Role PurposeTurn large-scale sensor data into actionable insights and create feedback loops for edge AI systems.Key Responsibilities• Analyze structured/unstructured field deployment data• Build analytics pipelines and intelligence products• Partner with product/customer teams• Identify model failures, drift and edge cases• Build monitoring, visualization and experimentation tools• Support model retraining and dataset enrichment• Ensure data quality and anomaly detectionQualifications• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, CS• 10+ years applied data science experience• Python, SQL, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn• Strong statistics and anomaly detection experience• Time-series, geospatial or multi-sensor data experience• ML Ops familiarityIdeal Profile• Startup or agile defense-tech background• Architectural ownership experience• Government/regulated domain exposure• PhD/publications preferredCompensation$260K+ and equityLocationHybrid Arlington VA or remote (Boston/Bay Area/San Diego/Los Angeles)
