{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"699b0f281bcfb453ce8a3f70","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/699b0f281bcfb453ce8a3f70","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/699b0f281bcfb453ce8a3f70","title":"Electrical Engineer","description":"We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Çimsa Americas Team!This position is located in Houston, Texas,Key ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support for electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, breakers, contactors, motors, VFDs, converters, sensors, encoders, load cells, and control panels.Analyze and support troubleshooting of complex electrical and automation-related issues, motor drives, instrumentation, and industrial control networks in collaboration with maintenance teams.Perform or coordinate electrical testing, inspections, calibration and loop checks, ensuring system accuracy and reliability.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies with Maintenance and Operations teams.Lead or support the electrical scope of capital and improvement projects, including design review, procurement support, installation supervision and commissioning/start-up activities.Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA) and support LOTO and risk assessment practices.Provide technical leadership and daily work coordination for a small team of electrical technicians, ensuring safe, standard-compliant, and efficient execution of maintenance and troubleshooting activities.This opportunity is for you if you have:B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (cement, mining, metals, chemicals, or other heavy industry preferred); plant/maintenance experience is an advantage.Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and motor control systems, including AC motors, VFDs, transformers, breakers, relays, contactors, and control circuits.Working knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation systems, including PLC/SCADA, sensors, transmitters, load cells, and calibration processes.Familiarity with Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 (preferred).Strong ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings, and to develop work procedures.Proficiency in data analysis and the use of engineering tools and software; solid PC skills (MS Office), with CAD/electrical documentation tools as a plus.Strong commitment to safety, product quality, and operational excellence.Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.ÇİMSA considers equality, diversity and inclusiveness in business life as a part of the culture of doing business, and implements the policies it publishes and practices related to this.
