Studies Engineer

A company is looking for a Studies Engineer to support power system studies and transmission planning projects within the renewable energy and power markets. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and benchmark models of renewable plants using various software Design custom master plant controls for large multi-resource renewable projects Conduct dynamic simulations and support model validation and benchmarkingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in power systems or control systems Experience with Matlab Simulink and dynamic analysis using PSS E and PSCAD software Experience in developing custom user-defined models in PSS E or PSCAD software Permanent authorization to work in the U.S
