This fast-paced, quality-focused role involves managing multiple responsibilities during the shift, including inspecting and packaging machined components, performing light assembly tasks, and operating material handling equipment throughout the facility. We’re looking for an individual who will demonstrate a safety-first mentality, regularly practice effective communication within a team environment, and be a team player by cross training within the department and in other areas of Components Division.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPrioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goals\nOperate all washing and packaging equipment\nManages inventory control for tip inspection machines and finished goods\nUses inspection tools to ensure quality standards\nComplete assembly of machined components\nOther work duties as needed.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nExperience shipping materials and handling related paperwork (Familiarity with D365 is a substantial plus)\nComfortable with math, drawings, and measuring devices\nReliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.\nMechanically inclined with an aptitude for hands-on tasks.\nForklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred\nBasic computer skills\nMust be willing to cross-train\nMust be able to follow set-up directions, and understand product specifications\nMust be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.\nOvertime may be required\nCompany Description\nComprised of a market-leading portfolio of best-in-class brands, the businesses of ITW Welding work together to provide premium performance delivered through a breadth of solutions encompassing welding, cutting, consumables, and accessories.
