Additionally, the Equipment Technician IV is responsible for performing preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and repairing unscheduled failures, assisting in completing engineering projects, and accurately communicating all maintenance activities.\nThis is for a CWW (compressed workweek) on the back-night (BN) shift, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and E/O Saturday, 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, 12-hour shifts with an 18% shift differential. Benefits begin on the first day of hire.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nPossess an ASEE or ASET degree or Military Equivalent.\nGreater than five years of experience working in the semiconductor manufacturing IMPLANT/HIVAC/Etch area.\nThe candidate must have at least eight years of experience working on the Novellus platforms.\nAdditionally, the ideal candidate will have greater than five years of experience working on at least 2 of the following platforms:\nAMAT 9500\nAxcelis GSD\nVarian E500\nSkilled and experienced in mentorship and training of Technicians on the Implant platforms.\nUnderstands and troubleshoots complex electronic/electro-mechanical circuitry and related components.\nHas the ability to demonstrate strong written/verbal communication skills.\nMust possess strong knowledge of electronic component operations.\nUnderstands the application and usage of various measurement tools (i.e., Oscilloscope, DVM, etc.)\nPossess a solid/strong mechanical aptitude.\nMust understand and be familiar with precision optics and mechanical assemblies (robotics).\nExperienced with and follows chemical safety procedures and protocols.\nSpecial Requirements:\nMandatory ERT physical including team participation as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.\nThis is a Safety Sensitive Position\nNo sponsorship available for this position\nEssential Physical Functions and working conditions:\nMust be able to: Lift 75 lbs.\nWork in a full PPE gown, gloves, and face shield for long periods.\nWork on a 6-foot ladder.\nBend, stretch, and contort to repair items on the tool.\nWork bent over with head and arms below waist level.\nWork on knees or lay down to repair the tool.\nRequired to use a respirator.\nUse basic hand tools.\nStanding on hard surfaces for long periods on metal or concrete floors.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%\nPhysical Attributes:\nBending at Waist, Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Crouching, Dust or gases, Electrical Hazards, Feeling, Fumes or Odors, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Mechanical Hazards, Noise and/or vibration, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Seeing, Stooping, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others\nPhysical Requirements:\nLift 75lbs\nMicrochip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
