Senior Full Stack Developer - React, Node.js, AWS - Raleigh, NC

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and modernizing features for a high-scale production platform that supports large-scale school and enterprise photography. This platform handles high transaction volumes, supports 900+ school yearbook productions annually, and enables e-commerce and bulk ordering workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a platform that recently secured a $35M enterprise deal and to collaborate with a small, senior-level team in a hybrid work environment.Responsibilities:Design, build, and modernize desktop and e-commerce product features for a high-scale production platformDevelop and enhance workflow-driven, bulk ordering, and e-commerce experiencesImplement and maintain bi-directional integrations between internal workflow systems and customer-facing ordering platformsCollaborate closely with Product Managers and Technical Leads to translate roadmap requirements into production-ready featuresContribute to both modernization of existing systems and development of new feature componentsEnsure scalability, reliability, and performance across distributed servicesExperience:Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience with Node.js (Express) and microservices architectureStrong React and Next.js skillsFamiliarity with AWS, Redis, SQS, MariaDB, and MySQLExpertise in distributed, service-oriented systems supporting high transaction volumesExperience with e-commerce platforms, workflow systems, or bulk-order processingKnowledge of modernizing legacy systems and active roadmap execution
