E-Z Bet Coordinator/Marketing Associate

Capital District OTB’s EZ Bet Coordinator/Marketing Associate reports directly to the Branch Operations of the Corporation and is responsible for the overall coordination of the Corporation’s EZ-Bet operations and assists with Corporation’s Marketing Promotions. Based out of our Albany location, this position entails day local travel to various E- Z Bet locations on occasion. Responsibilities: Liaison for all E-Z bet locations. Investigate internal E-Z Bet facility complaints as determined by the executive/administrative offices. Recruitment of new E-Z Bet locations within the Corporation. Coordinates all phases of the application process for new E-Z Bet locations and existing E-Z Bet locations undergoing a change of ownership. Act to ensure all E-Z Bet locations follow corporate policies and all New York State Racing and Wagering Board rules and regulations. Work in conjunction with all internal corporate departments to ensure all E-Z Bet locations are properly serviced and supplied. Day travel within the seventeen counties of the corporation. Some weekends required. Knowledge of off-track betting rules and regulations. Participate in marketing and promotion of EZ Bets. Assist in Corporate Marketing Events. Responsibilities extend to all the above activities but are not limited to the above list. Duties and Qualifications may vary based on the employment needs designated by the executive/administrative offices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Associate’s degree with three (3) years of pari-mutuel wagering experience. Experience in handling accounting reports. Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and customer service issues. Valid driver’s license Skills & Abilities: Positive attitude and solid work ethic. Eager to learn and able to take directions. Customer service experience required. Knowledge of Off-Track Betting rules and regulations helpful, but training will be provided. Marketing experience is a plus. Ability to work independently.
