If you're dependable, dedicated, and have a heart for elder care, we invite you to apply and become part of our caring and professional environment.Job SummaryAs a CNA, your primary responsibility is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident's assessment and care plan. Your role is critical in promoting the comfort, safety, and well-being of the residents under your care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygieneAssist with transferring, repositioning, and transporting residents safelyMeasure and record vital signs (TPRs), weight, and food/fluid intake as instructedObserve and report changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the nurse supervisorMaintain residents' rooms in a clean, safe, and orderly mannerAssist with meal delivery and feeding; provide after-meal careHelp residents prepare for medical exams or therapiesSupport restorative and rehabilitative care effortsEnsure documentation is accurate, complete, and timelyRespect resident privacy and confidentiality at all timesQualificationsHigh school education or completion of 10th grade minimumValid California CNA Certification (required)CPR certification (preferred)Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishBasic math, reasoning, and documentation skillsStrong interpersonal and teamwork abilitiesCompassionate, reliable, and committed to providing excellent resident carePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift/move up to 25 poundsAble to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the shiftMust be able to perform duties in a busy, sometimes emotionally stressful environmentMay be required to assist in resident evacuation during emergenciesWork EnvironmentSkilled nursing facility setting with moderate noise levelsExposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids may occurTeam-oriented environment focused on resident well-beingWhat We OfferStarting rate of $17.25/hourSupportive leadership and team cultureOpportunities for ongoing training and advancementA chance to truly make a difference in the lives of residents every dayIf you're looking for a meaningful career in healthcare and want to be part of a respected care team, apply today to become a Certified Nursing Assistant at Hanford Post Acute!
