{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"690e7f56edee4bdc6f718761","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/690e7f56edee4bdc6f718761","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/690e7f56edee4bdc6f718761","title":"UX Design Engineer","description":"As part of a complex digital transformation initiative within the healthcare industry, we are looking for a Senior UX Design Engineer to design intuitive, user-centered experiences for enterprise applications supporting complex healthcare operations.The consultant will translate workflows involving hospital capacity, patient flow, bed management, staffing, and operational data into simplified and effective user experiences.MissionsAnalyze complex healthcare operational workflows and translate them into intuitive UX solutionsSimplify data-intensive screens involving patient flow, hospital capacity, beds, staffing, and related operational factorsCreate and iterate wireframes, user flows, visual designs, mockups, and interactive prototypesDevelop high-fidelity prototypes and designs using Figma and modern UX toolsConduct user research to understand workflows, user needs, behaviors, and mental modelsFacilitate participatory design activities including co-creation sessions, paper prototyping, and card sortingTranslate complex and ambiguous business problems into structured UX solutions and roadmapsGather and validate requirements with product stakeholders and subject matter expertsClearly communicate design rationale, recommendations, assumptions, and trade-offsCreate annotated wireframes and prototypes that communicate application behavior and user journeysLead UX discussions with Product Management, Engineering, and leadership teamsDocument design decisions, stakeholder feedback, and agreed changesSupport user stories and Agile/Lean UX deliveryIdentify and apply emerging UX, technology, and industry best practicesRequired ProfileBachelor’s degree in Design, UX, HCI, or related field8+ years of UX/Product Design experienceStrong experience designing for complex enterprise applicationsHealthcare industry experience highly preferredStrong understanding of Agile, Lean UX, Design Thinking, and user-centered designAdvanced experience with Figma, wireframing, prototyping, and visual designExperience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Keynote, and/or similar platformsStrong user research, information synthesis, and visual storytelling capabilitiesAbility to simplify complex data and workflows into intuitive user experiencesStrong systems-thinking approach and ability to understand interconnected business and technical processesExcellent stakeholder communication and presentation skillsComfortable working independently and making design decisions in ambiguous environmentsAdditional InformationLocation: Remote within the United StatesPreferred Locations: Bellevue, WA;
