This is a hands-on role in an industrial setting, requiring attention to safety, precision, and teamwork.\nResponsibilities\nOperate forging machines to shape, cut, and form steel.\nAdjust machine settings for proper pressure and depth.\nInspect workpieces to ensure quality and accuracy.\nCommunicate with team members to maintain workflow.\nPerform basic maintenance and replace machine parts as needed.\nFollow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nSome high school education.\n6+ months of experience loading a forging press.\n1 year of industrial manufacturing or production experience.\nAbility to follow instructions and safety procedures.\nPreferred:\nVocational or trade school certificate.\nExperience in forging or extrusion operations.\nAbility to operate machines with multiple settings/specifications.\nSteel forge press or related mechanical press experience.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.\nStand for extended periods (80% of shift).\nWork in high-heat conditions around heavy machinery and open flames.\nMust be comfortable with moderate-to-high noise levels.\nRequired to wear protective gear at all times.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\n\n7a to 3:30p, Monday through Friday.
