{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"68f70a2c5c9952cec00a0f07","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/68f70a2c5c9952cec00a0f07","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/68f70a2c5c9952cec00a0f07","title":"Quality Manager","description":"Overview of the Position:\nPrimarily responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product meets the clients or consumers specifications and demands; maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies for repair and overhaul services rendered; directing and advising all personnel involved in the repair and shipment of product are suitably qualified and experienced in the appropriate processes; and carrying out with the authority to carry out all assigned tasks.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide production co-ordination and planning, including scheduling, to ensure customer turn time objectives are achieved\nMaintain compliance with EASA145, FAR145, CAAC 145 and customer approvals\nObtain and maintain AS9110 accreditation\nServe as a liaison with regulatory authorities, customers and external auditors\nEnsure that QMS processes and procedures meet the requirement of statutory system\nApprove all QMS documentation and all new equipment and tooling that directly effects product quality\nTrain personnel on Quality and Operator processes and procedures\nConduct internal quality audits and audits of suppliers\nInvestigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances\nTrack warranty, auditing, and customer feedback to improve process integrity\nManage the tool and test equipment calibration system\nEnsure Quality manuals are current and compliant\nEnsure Training manuals and records are current and compliant\nInspect product, processes, and metrics to find opportunities to improve quality\nManage quality compliance and improvement programs\nResponsible for document control and gage calibration systems\nEnsure regulatory requirements and reports are maintained and are in compliance\nAssist in benchmarking best practices across the company so that successes, failures and obstacles can be identified, communicated and leveraged across departments and the site\nEnsure that shop floor procedures, documentation and manuals are kept up to date.\nWork in accordance with the attached competencies as agreed by yourself and the General Manager\nMust be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of \"safety-sensitive\" duties/operations per FAA regulations\nPerform additional duties and tasks as assigned\nEnsure adherence to Safety Rules and Regulations\nEnsure high levels of housekeeping are maintained within work area\nEnsure work is carried out in accordance with QHSE policy\nCommitment to Company Values\nOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nKnowledge of company's policies and procedures\nKnowledge of the requirements of JAR145 & FAR145\nKnowledge in an aviation component or accessories environment\nStrong knowledge of ISO9001/2000; AS9110 Quality Systems\nStrong knowledge of mechanical component overhaul or manufacture, in a highly regulated environment\nKnowledge of internal and third-party auditing\nKnowledge of computer software (MS Office / spreadsheets / internet websites / PowerPoint / Outlook / MS Project & Access )\nSkilled in operating computers and office equipment (fax machines, copiers, phone systems)\nSkilled in basic data entry\nSkilled in management and supervising\nSkilled in analyzing and solving problems\nSkilled in paying attention to detail\nSkilled in oral and written communication (English)\nAbility to work with confidential information\nAbility to lead and conduct audits\nAbility to address and solve issues\nAbility to be proactive\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\nAbility to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations\nAbility to communicate effectively (both written and oral)\nAbility to follow written and oral instructions\nAbility to process data into useful information\nAbility to navigate internet\nAbility to think and concentrate for long periods of time\nAbility to organize workload to meet deadlines\nAbility to perform mathematical calculations related to job function\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to be flexible with work schedule\nAbility to learn tasks required to perform the job\n\nEducation / Experience Requirements:\nBS Degree in quality management or other related field preferred.
