Account Manager, Private Client Group

Department: Private Client GroupJob SummaryResponsible for managing and account servicing the High Net Worth client relationship including new and renewal business processes and rounding of accounts. Includes preparation of new business and renewal submissions including marketing, rating and proposals as well as the applications and binder process through to policy issuance. Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to Customers, Sales Representatives, Insurance Companies and Internal contacts and other duties as directed.Principal ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite, market, quote all lines of business for new client opportunities as well as renewals including benchmarking of large renewalsPrepare proposal presentations for sales calls/renewalsCreation of Applications, Binders, Coverage Summaries, Broker of Record Forms, Proposal and Invoicing, Certificates, and Auto ID cards for accounts sold and/or renewedComplete and update New Business and Renewal Checklists as applicableCommunicates with Producer and Account Executives, where applicable, on any issues/concerns impacting relevant prospect accountsParticipate in account reconciliation for receivables managementMaintains exceptional relationships with all levels of client’s decision makers in order to effectively consult and influence the client on insurance issuesPrepare client renewal strategy including proposals and presentations and ensure that they agree with client’s requests/requirementsMeet with client as necessary to review coverage informationParticipate in after-hours on-call rotation as assignedRemains current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technologyPromote teamwork and commitment to department/corporate goals as well as professional standardsOther FunctionsPursue opportunities to expand coverage for existing accountsAdhere to company policies and procedures such as maintaining client files, workflow, standards, processing and other guidelines including the Agency Management System – Sagitta and Document Management System-WorkSmart that conform to company standardsAttends various internal and external meetings, as requiredOther duties, as assignedRequirementsValid Property and Casualty LicenseValid Accident and Health LicenseBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.CPRM or CPRIA Designation required or must be obtained within two years of date of hire.Three to seven years (depending on experience and performance) minimum of Private Client Group Brokerage experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.Self-starter, flexible and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.Strong problem solving, interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of Document Management System (WorkSmart) preferred.Knowledge of Agency Management Systems (Sagitta) preferred.Ability to provide effective on-the-job training and to work flexible hours.Ability to develop and manage key relationships at all levels within the Conner Strong organization along with outside Clients and Carriers.Ability to work in an ever-changing organization / environment.CompensationSalary for this position ranges from $80,000.00 - $95,000.00. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
