He/She sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. This position provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates a functional working relationship with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.\nFacilitates training with new and current employees.\nResponsible to ensure that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.\nManages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.\nEstablishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.\nImplements employee personal development plans as required to ensure the continuing professional growth of department personnel.\nEnsures all department employees receive specific and detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and pro-active coaching to support their continued development.\nEnsures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred\nAbility to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.\nAvailability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office\nAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment\nManagement experience - Preferred\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nPermanent\n\nUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\n\nOther Criteria:\n\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
