The React Developer is a key role in The Virtus Solution’s growing IT practice. The ideal candidate is a results oriented person with a proven track record in full-stack development, specifically with React. The candidate will contribute to the software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle for various clients and projects, and may also be involved in configuration, performance testing and monitoring. The candidate should have effective communication skills and be able to thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment.\n\n*Job Responsibilities*\n* Contribute to the integration, software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle for various clients and projects, including complex multi-platform systems\n* Collaborates with other team members to create secure, reliable and scalable solutions / platforms\n* Identifies, implements, and shares technical solutions that can be used across the portfolio\n* Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases to ensure adequate resiliency in production\n* Determines the scope of project(s) by assessing requirements from business/technical personnel\n* Identifies product enhancements to create a better experience for the end users\n* Responsible for integration planning and integration analysis across multiple technical platforms including global system design and detailed program design for complex processes and interfaces, review of database design for new data structures, and suggested modifications to existing data structures\n* Triages high priority issues and outages as they arise\n* Deconstruct complex problems and provide data-driven solutions and/or process improvements\n* Work with cross-functional teams with effective leadership and teamwork skills\n\n*Must-Have*\n* Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology\n* 3+ years React and UI\n* Experience integrating applications and designing and developing web services and frameworks; front and back end experience required\n* Understanding various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)\n* Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages\n* Strong verbal and written communication skills ; Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience\n* Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness to make timely decisions\n\n*Nice to Have*\n* Experience with SQL, Access, and/or Visual Basic for Data Acquisition and Analysis\n* 3+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, EJB, Spring\n* Experience with Java Spring Dev\n* Experience with Oracle Databases\n* Experience in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel\n* Experience with SQL, Access, and/or Visual Basic for Data Acquisition and Analysis\n\n*Additional Information:*\n* Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly.
