You will set up and run industrial machinery, manage warehouse materials using a forklift, and maintain high-quality production standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, mathematical accuracy, and the agility to handle physically demanding tasks.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nMachine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain simple and complex industrial machinery.\nEquipment Care: Clean production machinery and remain responsible for company-provided tools.\nMaterial Handling: Supply production lines and store materials using a sit-down forklift.\nLogistics & Prep: Clean boxes, lids, and skids thoroughly before staging them.\nDocumentation: Complete quality control logs, production ledgers, and box tickets legibly.\nBasic Math: Compute material weights accurately using gross, tare, and net calculations.\nCollaboration: Participate in shift meetings, training sessions, and communicate with coworkers.\n\nJob Requirements\nForklift Experience: Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is mandatory.\nPhysical Fitness: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 65 pounds.\nMobility: Stand, walk, stoop, and bend 80% of the shift.\nStamina: Get on and off forklifts repeatedly and stand for long periods.\nTechnical Skills: Proficient using calculators, adding machines, and industrial scales.\nProblem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work under deadline pressure.\nCertification: Valid Forklift Certification is highly preferred.\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nPay: From $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.\nSchedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 schedule\nFinancial: 401(k) program with company matching.\nInsurance: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nCT Polymers is an equal employment opportunity employer.
