The global health advocacy team has three core brands: Shot@Life, which advocates for global immunization programs; United to Beat Malaria, which advocates for global malaria elimination; and HealthForUS, which advocates holistically for American engagement and investment in global health.JOB SUMMARY The Director, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships is a full-time, exempt position responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with corporate partners, including researching and developing compelling funding proposals and managing partner engagement activities, in support of global health advocacy and impact priorities. This role will also oversee foundation partnerships.The Director, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships is a key member of the Global Health Advocacy team and works closely with the Executive Director, Senior Director, Directors of Global Health Advocacy, other campaigns, and UN Foundation colleagues.This position is based in Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Corporate PartnershipsIdentify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate partners to secure financial support for programsLead and manage a portfolio of partners, while collaborating with leadership on programs and engagement strategies for additional partnershipsDevelop and execute strategies to grow corporate philanthropy, sponsorships, and strategic partnershipsPrepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and partnership packages for corporate donorsCollaborate with communications teams to create partnership materials and recognition opportunitiesManage existing corporate relationships, ensuring strong stewardship and ongoing engagement and program managementConduct research to identify new funding prospects and partnership opportunitiesFoundation Partnerships and Grant ManagementLead the development, writing, and submission of competitive grant proposals to private foundations and other institutional donorsManage the full grant lifecycle including prospect research, proposal development, submission, reporting, and renewalsMaintain a pipeline of foundation funding opportunities aligned with organizational prioritiesCoordinate with program and finance teams to gather information for proposals, budgets, and grant reportsEnsure compliance with grant requirements and maintain accurate grant documentationPartnership Portfolio and Agreement ManagementTrack fundraising activity, proposal deadlines, and donor engagement using relevant UNF systemsProvide regular reports and analysis on fundraising progress and pipeline developmentContribute to broader partnership team strategy and initiatives  Maintain working knowledge of UNF’s agreement processes for contracts and grants, including when to use the appropriate templatesSupport the drafting and review of agreements, maintain familiarity with key terms and requirements, and coordinate with UNF’s Finance and Contracts teams as neededAttend training provided by UNF’s Agreements and Partnerships team to remain current on policies and procedures  Maintain strong working knowledge of Salesforce to process and track agreements, extract information, and prepare reportsPerform other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Director, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships, Global Health Advocacy is not a supervisory roleEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
