This role focuses on API-based integrations , application-to-application orchestration , and event-driven messaging (JMS ) with a strong emphasis on reliability, automated reprocessing, and production support readiness across Dev/SIT/UAT/Prod environments.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nIntegration Development & Orchestration Design, develop, and support enterprise integrations using Python (services, orchestration components, automation utilities).\r\nBuild and consume RESTful APIs for system-to-system communication.\r\nDevelop data transformation, validation, enrichment, and orchestration logic using JSON/XML payloads.\r\nBuild application-to-application integration orchestrations , including resilient workflows and dependency coordination across systems.\r\nMessaging / Event-Driven Integration Implement and support event-driven and batch integrations using JMS (queues/topics), including message processing and recovery patterns.\r\nImplement automated reprocessing patterns (retry, replay, dead-letter / suspended queue handling) to reduce manual intervention and improve stability.\r\nOperational Readiness & Support Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues across Dev, SIT, UAT , and Production environments.\r\nImplement strong logging, monitoring, and alerting practices; ensure integrations are supportable in production with clear runbooks and operational checks.\r\nParticipate in release execution and deployment readiness activities (checklists, verification, rollback awareness), partnering with DevOps/ops teams as needed.\r\nCollaboration & Quality Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable solutions.\r\nParticipate in code reviews and follow best practices for security, performance, maintainability, and documentation.\r\nRequired Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with building APIs with Python using FLASK or FASTAPI Frameworks.\r\nStrong experience building/consuming REST APIs and Orchestrations working with AWS/Azure services like Amazon API Gateway, Lamda, Step Function, Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, MQ, Event Bridge, MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka), CloudWatch.\r\nExperience building application-to-application integration orchestration solutions.\r\nSolid understanding of JSON, XML , and transformation patterns.\r\nExperience with middleware/integration concepts (message-driven design, orchestration, idempotency, retries, correlation IDs).\r\nExperience implementing complex orchestrations with automatic re-processing (retry/replay, failure handling, re-queue patterns).\r\nFamiliarity with authentication and security patterns: OAuth2, API keys, token-based auth .\r\nExperience with logging, monitoring, error handling , and operational troubleshooting.\r\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.\r\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft , OIC , Boomi , or similar.\r\nExperience integrating with ERP/HCM systems such as Oracle Fusion and PeopleSoft .\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and release promotion across environments.\r\nUnderstanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems beyond JMS (e.g., CDC, platform events).\r\nExperience supporting production integrations, hypercare, and operational handoff practices (runbooks, monitoring, escalation readiness).\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\r\nThanks\r\nJagdish |Manager – IT Staffing\r\nT (443)-489-4433 | Jagdish@polarits.com\r\n6095 Marshalee Dr, Suite 250, Elkridge, MD 21075\r\nNote: If you have received this message in error, please notify us immediately by reply e-mail so that we may correct our internal records.
