This role combines teaching, operations, and leadership to ensure our camps, after-school programs, and school partnerships deliver exceptional experiences for students, families, and educators.\nThe ideal candidate enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves creating organized systems that help teams succeed. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role while making a meaningful impact through creative arts and STEAM education.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate the day-to-day operations of camps, after-school programs, and educational events.\nTeach select classes, camps, and enrichment programs while modeling high-quality instruction and classroom management.\nPrepare classrooms, materials, and supplies to ensure programs run smoothly.\nSupport the onboarding, training, coaching, and supervision of teaching artists and educators.\nManage studio organization, inventory, and educational materials.\nVisit school and community partner sites to provide operational support and maintain program quality.\nTroubleshoot day-of operational needs and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.\nCommunicate with families, school partners, and staff to support positive program experiences.\nParticipate in program planning, weekly operations meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate documentation, reports, and operational records.\nRequirements\nExperience working with children in educational, enrichment, camp, or after-school settings.\nStrong classroom management and leadership skills.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience supervising, mentoring, or training staff is preferred.\nExperience with arts, STEAM, maker education, or creative programming is a plus.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.\nReliable transportation to travel between program sites throughout the Bay Area.\nAbility to lift and transport educational materials and assist with classroom and event setup.\nWhy Join Maker Studio Kidz?\nAt Maker Studio Kidz, we believe creativity builds confidence.
