DescriptionLaForce is looking for a dedicated and reliable full-timePainterto join our Installation Department. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting materials such as frames, doors, and components, and assisting with various tasks in the installation process.Hours are 4:30am-2:30pm Monday-Thursday, with possible overtime on Fridays.As a Painter you'll be responsible for:Ensuring that shop orders, drawings, and frames meet painting requirements.Operating various paint systems, such as airless and pressure-pot spray systems, to apply primer, top coats, etc.Safely moving materials using forklifts, maintaining a clean painting environment, and managing inventory in the warehouse will also be part of your duties.What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or GED) and six to twelve months related experience. Military experience is considered as a substitute for relevant experience. You should be able to read safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. A forklift certification will be provided through internal training.Physical Demands for a Painter:This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach continuously. You will be lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling materials up to 50 pounds, with occasional climbing and balancing.
