Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant who thrives in a school setting. This full-time, contract role begins August 24, 2026, and runs through June 9, 2027, serving students at various campus locations near Clayton, NC. As part of a vibrant educational community, you will help support communication development and learning outcomes for students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.Key Qualifications:Actively registered with the North Carolina speech board, or eligible for full or temporary registration (candidates will begin NCBOE registration post-hire)Experience in a school environment providing therapy and documenting services accuratelyProficiency with Google Drive and MS Office for record keeping and communicationAbility to work effectively with students of diverse ages and needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Deliver speech-language therapy to students as directed by supervising SLPPrepare and maintain accurate documentation of student progressCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student successUtilize technology for communication, tracking, and reportingAdapt strategies to meet the unique needs of assigned studentsParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as requiredThis is an on-site only position with a school assignment and caseload to be determined following the interview process.
