imports, and automated workflows.\nDevelop reporting systems and dashboards that give managers timely, useful information.\nImprove the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of company data.\nWork with outside software providers and technology vendors when necessary.\nEvaluate whether a problem should be solved through custom development, existing software, or process improvement.\nArtificial Intelligence and Automation\nIdentify practical opportunities to use artificial intelligence within the company.\nDevelop AI-assisted tools for reporting, document processing, data analysis, estimating, scheduling, and internal communication.\nCreate appropriate safeguards for confidential company and employee information.\nEvaluate new technologies based on reliability, security, cost, and measurable business value.\nTrain employees to use approved AI and automation tools responsibly.\nUser Support and Implementation\nMeet with employees to understand their work, challenges, and technology needs.\nTranslate employee needs into clear software requirements and development plans.\nTest new tools with actual users before company-wide implementation.\nTrain business-technology needs and coordinate with outside IT providers when appropriate.\nQualificationsRequired\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.\nDemonstrated software-development and coding ability.\nExperience developing applications using at least one modern programming language.\nWorking knowledge of relational databases, SQL, APIs, and data integration.\nExperience with source-control systems such as Git.\nAbility to diagnose problems, research solutions, and work independently.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical employees.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and follow work through completion.\nWillingness to learn how construction work is performed in both the office and the field.\nValid driver’s license and ability to visit company facilities and jobsites when needed.\nPreferred\nExperience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, SQL, or similar technologies.\nExperience building web applications with frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Django,
