MDU Cable Tech","description":"Key Responsibilities:\n\nPre-wire and post-wire multi-dwelling units (MDUs) using coax and Cat5e cable\n\nInstall fiber through new and existing conduits in residential and commercial environments\n\nPerform cable routing, wall fishing, tone/tagging, and outlet installation\n\nConduct hand digging (install or replace small ped/ vaults)\n\nInstall and secure distribution boxes, cover plates, and related hardware\n\nTerminate voice and data lines and test all connections for performance and accuracy\n\nReconnect active customers and verify all services are operational\n\nRead and interpret prints, maps, and construction designs\n\nOperate company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment\n\nComplete daily documentation, including production reports and vehicle inspections\n\nLoad, stock, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily assignments\n\nPerform routine safety inspections and maintain compliance with company safety standards\n\nMaintain clean, organized work areas and support team members as needed\n\nRequirements & Qualifications:\n\nExperience with cable installation, including coax, Cat5e, and fiber (MDU experience preferred)\n\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment\n\nBasic understanding of telecom prints, layouts, and network infrastructure\n\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to test, troubleshoot, and verify connections\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong communication skills for interacting with team members, residents, and customers\n\nAbility to work in various environments, including tight spaces and outdoor conditions\n\nPhysical capability to bend, climb, crawl, lift, and move equipment up to 80 lbs\n\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic\n\nWillingness to work in varying weather conditions\n\nValid driver's license required\n\nAbility to pass drug screening and
