This Senior Data Management Analyst will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data systems. You’ll ensure data quality, security, and accessibility, while helping teams make smarter, data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on role that combines strategy, governance, and collaboration across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain robust data management systems and workflows to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security of organizational dataAnalyze business and technical data requirements to develop scalable data modelsEstablish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to support compliance with regulatory standards and internal best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize data storage, retrieval, and integration processesMonitor and maintain data quality metrics, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions as neededProvide recommendations and insights to enhance data management practices and improve organizational decision-makingStay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, governance, and analyticsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or data analytics rolesStrong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniquesExperience implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks and policiesProficiency with data management tools, databases, and data visualization platformsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teamsUS Citizenship requiredMust reside in the Continental US; and be within driving distance to Washington, DCDepending on the government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake)Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)Certification in data management or governance (e.g., CDMP, DAMA)Qualified individuals living in HUBZone-certified areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
