This position provides programming to support sustainment and upgrades to the Center Operations On-line data base that uses a web-based application to enhance user interface to the database.\n\nThis is an onsite/in person position. Telework not considered.\n\nApply knowledge and ability to use the following: C#, VB, .Net, and understand .Net Framework, SQL database, program T-SQL scripts, and HTML\n\nApply knowledge of computer and network systems architectures, operating systems, network administration and data management.\n\nUnderstand database platforms, expansion, configuration control, backups, and design and implement system security.\n\nSupport as an effective member of the development team in computer programming languages to review, analyze, code, document, and specify requirements and products.\n\nSupport help desk “trouble tickets” to correct user access or data field entry errors or recover loss data and provide instruction on correct use of the system\n\nSupport customer Sprint cycles and apply an understanding of Scrum/Agile software development\n\nPlan and carry out assignment, completed work is reviewed in terms of meeting requirements.\n\nSalary Range: 79,000 – 90,000\n\nMust obtain Security+ certification withing 6-months of employment and maintain the certification.\nMust qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.\nMust have a valid, current state driver’s license.\n\nMaster’s Degree in a related field; or a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years’ experience in a related field; or Associate’s Degree with 5 years’ experience in a related field; or a high school diploma with 8 years’ experience in a related field. Must have professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and a familiarity with related engineering fields. Candidate must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. The incumbent should have a working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based tools such as C#, VB, .Net, and understand .Net Framework, SQL database, program T-SQL scripts, and HTML\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
