Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN-UM) Facility -Nursing Home Location-Springfield VT Shift-Start:7:00 AMEnd:3:30 PM Duration-14 weeks Guarantee:40 hours Pay Rate$60-$63/hr on w2 pay rate $74/hr on 1099 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering an environment of excellence in patient care. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to patients, implementing improvements as necessary. Facilitate effective communication among healthcare team members, patients, and families. Oversee specimen collection processing and ensure accurate medical imaging procedures. Manage critical care situations with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Develop and implement case management strategies for patients with complex needs, including those with dementia or developmental disabilities. Provide guidance and support for nursing staff in their professional development and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies. Experience Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is essential. Familiarity with laboratory processes and specimen collection is preferred. Experience in critical care environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial. Strong leadership abilities combined with excellent communication skills are required.
