Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant at East Coast Dermatology in Brooklyn, NY. The Medical Assistant will support a range of clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting physicians during procedures, preparing examination rooms, maintaining accurate medical records, verifying medical histories, and providing compassionate patient care. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with medical protocols and fostering a positive patient experience. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including preparing patients for examinations and assisting with procedures Familiarity with Medical Terminology to ensure effective communication and understanding in a clinical setting Experience in managing tasks within a Medical Office, including appointment scheduling and supporting administrative operations Ability to provide high-quality Patient Care with empathy and attention to detail Competency in handling Medical Records, ensuring accuracy, maintenance, and confidentiality Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a dynamic clinical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar credential is preferred Languages: English and Russian (required)
