The engineer will conduct advanced processing of novel RF signals and will research/develop new processing methodologies to support emerging Customer requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.\nMost of the work supports the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community. Desire an active TS/SCI clearance.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform algorithms development and prototyping of new tools to solve complex problems with the exploitation of data from remote sensors\nEmploy the system engineering development cycle and help develop requirements through the testing and evaluation of the newly developed techniques\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into solutions\nTeam to conduct the integration of new capabilities into the existing and new baselines\nEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality system delivery\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field from an accredited institute.\n10 years of relevant experience.\nPursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens\nApplicant must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access.\nSolid understanding of radar, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), digital signal processing (DSP), and/or RF communication theory with technical work experience supporting radar, SAR, electronic warfare (EW), and/or DSP projects.\nMust have strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team of engineers, analysts, and scientists.\nApplicant must reside within commuting distance to WPAFB, OH or willing to relocate to the area.\nPossess effective communication and be able to collaborate with Customers, and cross-functional teams, document technical processes, and present solutions to stakeholders.\nMust be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.\nEnthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent CI Polygraph.\nMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field.\nWorking knowledge of GEOINT, MASINT, ELINT and/or SIGINT.\nTechnical leadership experience.\nDemonstrated ability to drive technological innovation within an organization.\nRecognized expert technologist with 10+ year experience in analytic solution development related to signal processing, data science, machine learning, or other similar technology.\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Matlab, or Java.\nPrior experience working in a Linux environment.\nFamiliar with Xpatch electromagnetic simulation tools.\nKnowledge of Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis techniques, high range resolution profiles, RF scattering\nAgile-based knowledge and skill, including experience with Scrum Ceremonies and work management tools (e.g., (JIRA, Confluence)\nFamiliarity with AI/ML models to process and analyze large datasets\nPrevious IC or DoD program/project work experience\nADA Notations:\nRegular communication (hearing/speaking).\nNoise conditions range from very quiet to noisy.\nProlonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).\nFrequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.\nAbility to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.\n\nEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
