HR & Compliance Administrator

Description: The HR and Compliance Administrator will support both the Human Resources and Compliance functions by performing a variety of administrative duties. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Summary of Responsibilities: HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. Support new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork. Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries. Assist with employee relations, performance management, and other HR projects as needed. Compliance Administration: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update compliance-related documents, policies, and procedures. Coordinate and track employee training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist with internal audits and compliance checks to identify and address any potential risks or violations. Support the development and implementation of new compliance initiatives. Expectations: Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure all records, reports, and communications are accurate and properly maintained. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee and company information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. Proactive Approach: Anticipate needs, identify issues before they become problems, and suggest improvements to processes. Compliance Awareness: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies; provide guidance to employees as needed. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with HR, compliance, and other departments to support company objectives. Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree. Current experience in HR or compliance administration, or a similar role. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience using HRIS, compliance management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
