Med Tech for Assisted Living Community

Brookside Cartersville in Cartersville, GA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Tech for 2nd shift. In this role, you will provide care services and medications to residents while maintaining their safety and comfort. Additional responsibilities include: Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders · Med Tech will assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) · Med Tech to support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being · Helping as needed in the Resident Services area to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our Residents · Med Tech follows all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator · Med Tech follows all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator · Assist Residents with their ADL's and the administration of their medications · Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Residents while following company policies and procedure Qualifications: · MUST HAVE MEDICATION AIDE EXPERIENCE (PROXY CAREGIVER) OR HAVE CMA · Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients a plus · Must be able to speak and read in English · Experience with dementia and senior population · An abiding love of seniors is mandatory · Extremely reliable, dependable, and observant Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
