You will be responsible for developing core flight systems, prototyping, managing vendor integration, and building a world-class engineering team. You will play a central role in defining the future of our company.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLead design, prototyping, and validation of Float's hydrogen airship platform.\r\nDevelop and test propulsion, control, and autonomy systems.\r\nWork hands-on with early-stage flight hardware and software.\r\nRecruit and manage a top-tier engineering team.\r\nCollaborate on company vision, product roadmap, and fundraising strategy.\r\nInterface with partners, investors, and regulatory bodies (FAA, DoT, etc.).\r\nIdeal Background\r\n5+ years in aerospace, systems engineering, or robotics (preferably at SpaceX, Hyperloop, Boom, etc.).\r\nStrong background in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering.\r\nExperience with autonomous systems, avionics, or hydrogen fuel systems is a plus.\r\nPrevious startup or founder experience highly desirable.\r\nLocated in or willing to relocate to Southern California.\r\nCompensation\r\nThis is a co-founder role with significant equity ownership.
