Scheduling Coordinator

Woodland Heights Senior Living, in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a compassionate and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join their team. This is a working position, meaning the individual will not only manage staff scheduling but also provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and passionate about supporting both residents and team members.Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Administrative Duties:Create, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shiftsManage call-offs, shift changes, and last-minute staffing needsCoordinate with department leaders to align staffing with resident care needs and census changesMonitor overtime and staffing budgets, making adjustments as neededMaintain accurate scheduling records and communicate updates clearly to staffAssist with onboarding schedules for new hiresDirect Care Responsibilities (CNA)Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in accordance with care plansAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobilitySupport residents with dementia and memory care needs using patience and empathyObserve and report changes in resident condition to nursing staffPromote a safe, clean, and comfortable environmentQualificationsActive CNA certification in Arkansas Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care preferredPrior scheduling or staffing coordination experience strongly preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents as requiredMust be able to perform CNA duties safely and effectivelyWhy Join UsSupportive team environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in residents' livesCompetitive pay and benefits packageGrowth and development opportunities
