You will also be responsible for making any modifications to equipment as needed, and may help train new staff on existing equipment to ensure it is properly utilized. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial maintenance, has a great analytical mind, and strong attention to detail.Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot mechanical failures on recycling equipmentPerform structural welding and fabrication repairsReplace wear liners, bearings, chains, rollers, hoses, cylinders, and componentsPerform preventive maintenance inspectionsComplete field service reportsTravel to customer locations as neededMaintain professional customer communication onsiteFollow all safety and lockout/tagout proceduresQualifications Hydraulic troubleshooting experienceMIG and/or stick welding experienceMechanical troubleshooting abilityAbility to read hydraulic schematicsExperience using diagnostic toolsAbility to work independentlyPreferred Experience Recycling equipmentIndustrial maintenanceHeavy equipment repairMillwright workConveyor systemsFabricationStructural steel repairStrong problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbsClimbing, kneeling, crawling, and working in industrial environmentsAbility to travel as required
