The role focuses on keeping both teams aligned with dependent app teams, removing blockers, and ensuring releases ship predictably.\r\nWhat You’ll DoOwn planning, roadmap, and delivery tracking for both teams, including cross-team dependencies and risks.\r\nCoordinate component releases, versioning, and adoption across iOS, Android, and Web consumers.\r\nPartner with engineering leads on foundation work such as networking, auth, observability, and shared libraries.\r\nRun the release process for mobile apps and shared packages, including release calendars, go/no-go decisions, hotfixes, and rollbacks.\r\nWork with CI/CD owners to improve build times, pipeline reliability, and test automation.\r\nTrack and communicate migration efforts, SDK upgrades, Xcode and Android toolchain updates, and deprecations.\r\nGive leadership clear status, metrics, and early warning on risks.\r\nBuild working relationships with design, product, QA, and security teams.\r\nRequired Qualifications5+ years as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role supporting mobile or platform engineering.\r\nSolid understanding of how mobile apps work end-to-end, including app architecture, build and signing, app store release, feature flags, and crash and performance monitoring.\r\nHands‑on familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Harness) and release workflows.\r\nWorking knowledge of GCP, GKE, networking, logging and monitoring, and how backend services affect mobile.\r\nExperience with design systems or shared component libraries across multiple platforms.\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and comfort driving decisions without direct authority.\r\nFluency with Jira, Confluence, and dashboards for tracking delivery.\r\nAbility to work remotely.\r\nPreferred QualificationsExperience with Flutter or cross‑platform frameworks.\r\nFamiliarity with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tooling.\r\nBackground in a regulated industry such as healthcare.\r\nPrior hands‑on engineering experience in mobile or web.\r\nExposure to Azure DevOps, Native Android, Native iOS, or related architecture and design skills.\r\nBenefitsHealth Insurance.\r\nDental Insurance.\r\nVision Insurance.\r\n401(k) + 401(k) matching.\r\nPaid time off.\r\nReferral Program.\r\nAbout ZipStaffZipStaff partners with leading organizations to connect skilled technology professionals with high-impact contract opportunities.
