We are looking for an experienced escrow officer who wants to be part of building something meaningful and help grow the Neighborhood Title brand throughout Collin County.Role DescriptionNeighborhood Title of Texas is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer with an established book of business to join our team in or around Plano, TX. Our main office is located in Plano, but we are open to supporting the right candidate in building or expanding into another Collin County market if there is a strong business opportunity.This is a full-time, hybrid role for an escrow professional who is confident managing the full closing process while also maintaining and growing strong relationships with real estate agents, lenders, builders, investors, and referral partners.The Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing residential real estate closings from start to finish, including opening new orders, reviewing contracts, clearing title issues, preparing settlement statements, balancing files, scheduling closings, conducting signings, handling escrow funds, recording documents, and disbursing files.The ideal candidate is someone who already has strong industry relationships, takes pride in excellent communication, provides a high level of service, and wants the opportunity to grow with a company that values both production and customer experience.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who:Has an existing book of business or strong referral relationships in the real estate, lending, builder, investor, or relocation spaceWants to grow with a locally owned title company rather than get lost in a large corporate structureIs motivated, entrepreneurial, and excited about helping expand our footprint in Plano and surrounding Collin County marketsProvides exceptional customer service and understands the importance of communication throughout the closing processCan manage closings accurately, professionally, and efficiently from contract to fundingValues teamwork, accountability, integrity, and long-term client relationshipsIs comfortable representing the company in the community and helping drive continued growthResponsibilitiesManage residential escrow files from opening through closing and fundingReview contracts, title commitments, lender instructions, invoices, payoffs, HOA documents, and closing requirementsPrepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and final closing documentsCoordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and internal team membersClear title requirements and resolve file issues in a timely and professional mannerSchedule and conduct closings, including explaining documents and ensuring proper executionHandle escrow funds, balance files, disburse funds, and maintain accurate file documentationProvide proactive communication and exceptional service to clients and referral partnersMaintain and grow existing business relationships while helping develop new opportunitiesFollow all company policies, compliance requirements, and applicable Texas title and escrow regulationsQualificationsProven experience as an Escrow Officer in TexasExisting book of business or established referral relationships strongly preferredStrong knowledge of residential real estate transactions, contracts, title commitments, settlement statements, and closing documentsExperience managing closings from start to finishTexas Notary commission or ability to obtain oneStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy when handling funds, documents, and deadlinesAbility to work independently while collaborating with a teamExperience with common title and escrow software preferredProfessional, client-focused, and motivated to growWhy Join Neighborhood Title of TexasThis is an opportunity for the right escrow officer to come in early, grow with us, and have a voice in the future of the company.
