Commercial Door Carpenter

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Commercial Door Carpenter for a role with a commercial construction company located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will perform work at companies like Nike and Intel. This position will support the company's door division, installing and servicing a wide variety of commercial doors and hardware. Ideal candidates will have construction experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.PAY: $25-30/hrCommercial Door Carpenter Responsibilities:* Install commercial interior and exterior doors* Work with metal, wood, solid-core, hollow-core, and specialty doors* Install and adjust door hardware including closers, hinges, panic devices, locks, and handles* Perform repairs, maintenance, and hardware replacement on existing doors* Read and interpret basic plans, specifications, and work orders* Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work areaCommercial Door Carpenter Qualifications:* Previous commercial door installation, finish carpentry, or related construction experience preferred* Experience with commercial door hardware is highly desirable* Ability to safely use hand and power tools* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredAbility to pass pre-employment screening requirements* Position is subject to a drug screen (including testing for THC) and background checkBenefits:* $25-$30/hour* Medical* 401(K) w/match* Paid Sick Leave* Paid holidays
