Where an individual's pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\n\nIn some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate's qualification, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.\n\nPosition Overview\nUnder theguidance of the Operations Manager, oversee the day-to-day productionactivities to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of the manufacturingprocess. Execute process improvementsinitiatives. Optimize asset utilization and production cost. Perform engineering analysis to reduce waste anddown time. Support plant HSSE initiatives. Incorporate good process safetypractices.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\nAssist with design of new processes and equipment\n\nProvide technical support for cost per ton improvement activities (benchmarking, bottleneck analysis, loss/yield analysis, process tuning, control schemes, trend analysis and reporting)\n\nProvide technical support for PSM activities such as PHA, MOC, PSSR\n\nSupervise contractors for assigned projects\n\nSupport control system (Delta V) activities (interlock testing, alarm setting, troubleshooting, control loop tuning)\n\nMaintain compliance with corporate and engineering-specific policies, procedures, and work processes\n\nProvide technical support to turnaround planning activities and startup/shutdown procedures\n\nTroubleshoot plant process or equipment issues\n\nMonitor and ensure SUMO compliance including COP/VIP compliance, MDC tests\n\nDevelop and modify SOP’s, process controls, interlock matrix, alarm list & control narratives\n\nBack up Operations or Logistic supervisor\n\nHS&E Responsibilities\n\nSupport HS&E teams to address safety and environmental issues\n\nEnsure compliance with PHMP and PSM requirements\n\nComplete applicable trainings as required.
