Engineer/Programmer","description":"DESCRIPTION\nThe Controls Engineer I is responsible for the implementation, testing/commissioning, and field support of custom electronic security systems in a variety of settings.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop custom HMI screens in the specified SCADA platform for various types of security systems and products, and tailor this design to the customer’s requirements\nProgram functions for each system based on customer requirements\nProduce a sequence of operations for customer review and approval\nCreate PLC ladder-logic for the specified system from IO lists generated by the engineering team\nInterface with multiple hardware and software systems to create a seamless HMI system for the end-user\nConfigure access control systems\nSupport custom programming through fabrication, factory testing, on-site installation, and commissioning\nCreate test sheets\nCompile O&M manuals in both electronic and hard copy formats for end-user reference\nSupport project remotely during warranty phase\nReviewing project budgets\nReviewing project schedules\nComplete documents and forms for department process/procedure improvement\nLift up to 10lbs\nTravel to various projects as assigned and as is reasonable\nPerform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing, etc.\nMay be required to work outside of normal business hours, as dictated by project needs\nCommunicate regularly and effectively as appropriate\nMaintain the standards, culture and values of CML Security\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or experience preferred\n2 Years of programming experience, specifically VB Script, C++, Java preferred\nExperience designing SCADA/HMI platforms including programming PLCs, troubleshooting and implementing systems preferred\nAdvanced knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.\nOSHA-10 certification\nPay: $20-$27 an hour\nExpected fill date: April 2026\n\nEmployment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen","company":"Cml
