Although we have retained the agility and flexibility of a small company, both our business and our employees now have access to new opportunities for growth.\n\nAccess Laser Company is seeking a full-time Quality Engineering Coordinator to work with the Quality Team to support the production of laser systems.\n\nPrimary Duties:\n\nManage processes with Enterprise Resource Planning / Product Lifecycle Management transactions, including:\nFacilitate and transact material that needs to be returned to vendors (RTV)\nTransact Nonconformance Reports, Nonconforming Material Report, and Rework work orders\nCreate Change Requests or Engineering Change Orders to address identified quality issues\nSupport Inspection in managing outsourced calibrations for tools and equipment (i.e., schedule, quote, ship, purchase requisitions, etc.)\n\nManage Nonconformance Report and Material Review Board processes including:\nTrack and document NCRs through the NCR life cycle (Review, containment, corrective actions, and disposition)\nInitiate and manage stock purges to segregate nonconforming materials\nOversee NCR and MRB data to ensure comprehensive quality reporting. Escalate critical observations to Management\nLead weekly MRB team meetings to review current NCRs\nManage MRB location and access to MRB cage (part check-in/check-out)\nDevelop MRB workflows as required per disposition type\n\nAssist in the development and growth of the Quality Management System, including:\nUpdate existing or developing new, quality and process documents\nConduct internal process/product audits and create audit reports with supporting documentation\nReview reports from internal and external audits to identify areas where improvements can be made\nReport quality issues to production managers and other stakeholders\nInitiate and coordinate quality-related data from production, service or process improvement activities and reports these data using statistical techniques\n\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nStandard Job Requirements:\n\nAssociate’s degree in Quality Assurance or equivalent relevant experience\nOver 3 years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment\nExperience in using PLM and ERP systems, especially in NCR, DMR, RTV transactions\nFamiliarity with Material Review Board (MRB) processes and handling of nonconforming materials\nExperience creating documented work instructions and other quality related process documents\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility and desire to work in collaborative team environments\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications\n\nHighly Desirable Additional Skills/Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance or equivalent relevant experience\nAbility to develop and administer quality related projects\nAudit experience is a plus, though not required\nAbility to assist in developing and reporting KPIs and other quality data metrics\n\nWhy work for us\n\nAt our core, we are an idea company, which is driving expansion and tremendous revenue growth.
